As part of doing chiropractic adjustments, we often get some cracking going on. For some people, it sounds a little uneasy, but the sound is not actually bones cracking. We try and make all our patients at ease and comfortable and often have to explain what happens when cracking or popping sounds are heard.

These sounds aren’t exactly what you think.

I recently came across this video that shows under MRI scan exactly what happens when joints are “cracked”. It’s quite a fascinating watch and will go a long way to explaining and showing what does happen.

Check it out.

Now after watching that, don’t you feel much happier? You can see clearly that your bones are not being cracked at all.

If you have any questions about this or anything else, give us a call. And remember we are walk in friendly too, so if you’re in pain, come in and we will help you. Cracking and all!
